Youth Gardening
Get your hands dirty with gardening activities!
Our garden focus is to teach kids, families, volunteers… about gardening, growing food, and giving back to our community. We grow our plants from seed in the greenhouse, tend to the garden plants all growing season, take home vegetables to eat ourselves and donate much of the harvest to the local food pantries: Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Joseph’s Food Pantry. We try to squeeze in garden crafts and other garden-related explorations when time allows (think ladybugs and compost) and generally get dirty, wet, and have lots of fun.
Please RSVP for programs by sending an e-mail to Monika Hannemann. Monika will add you to her weekly e-mail updates to confirm program participation and details.
