The October Club Meeting
The Gardens at The Met Cloisters: A Living Connection to the Past
Presentation by Marc Montefusco
The gardens at The Met Cloisters have been an integral part of the museum since its founding in 1938. Managing Horticulturist Marc Montefusco will describe the three principle gardens at The Met Cloisters, and explore their connection to the life of the Middle Ages and the collections of the museum, which include architectural elements, sculpture, furniture, and fascinating examples of medieval art and culture.
Due to COVID-19 this will be a Virtual Meeting limited to 100 virtual slots. Club members will get first shot. If there are any slots open a couple of days prior to the schedule meeting then we’ll open those to the public.
Meeting details to be provided via club email blast.
