Event Details

Subject:   Plants for Winter Interest
Speaker:   Bruce Crawford

Bruce Crawford, Rutgers Gardens Director

Winter may feel cold and dark, but your garden can listen that dreariness with an array of textures, colors, fragrances, and even flowers. To create such a winter wonderland, you need to select the correct plants.  Learn about numerous plants that strut their bright berries, peeling barks, swaying seed pods, colorful flowers, and persistent foliage throughout the iciest month’s of the year.  Bruce Crawford will focus on the best plants for providing pops of color, height, and structure to your yard, allowing you to not online have good Garden “bones,” but wonderful visual appeal as well.
